Not only is Paris to Ancaster Canada’s spring cycling classic, it’s a Ride for Research, too! That’s because anyone racing in the 70k or 40k or joining the 20k family-friendly ride, can choose to fundraise in support of innovative research at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.

It’s at St. Joe’s that ground breaking advances in respiratory health care have taken place – including the development of the AeroChamber® inhaler and the first Canadian guidelines for the treatment of asthma. St. Joe’s is a global leader in minimally-invasive surgeries with the use of a state-of-the-art surgical robot. Our kidney researchers are working to uncover possible links between kidney failure and diabetes and hypertension, and St. Joe’s mental health researchers are striving to determine the best medications to treat depression, schizophrenia, menopausal symptoms and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Choosing to ride and fundraise in support of research at St. Joe’s means you’re supporting life-changing and life-saving research today – and that will impact the health of all of us for years to come.

Watch some of our fundraisers and St. Joe’s department teams share why they are going the distance for St. Joe’s!
