A New Gift from the Juravinskis Supports Transformational Health Research in Hamilton

Today, in partnership with McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation announced a new $3 million donation from Charles and Margaret Juravinski. The gift was announced on the heels of Charles’ 91st birthday and is in addition to the $3.3 million investment in healthcare research the couple announced in April of this year. 

About making a gift, instead of receiving them on his birthday, Charles said, “Margaret and I don’t really need anything for our birthdays. Instead, what would give us the most joy, is to see our donations making a difference right now, by supporting the bright, talented research community that calls Hamilton home.”
